Hey, there, Lisa! I hear you're, like, a MOM and stuff these days, congrats. I love quizzes, so that's how I got Rebecca's. It's the constant training (I love the internet!).

Mister: whoa. Our heads are so in tune it's uncanny. :)

Kate: I never thought of breaking the chocolate down into its component parts. That adds a whole nother level of goodness.

Stephanie: Congrats on the column! Working for another Stephanie is just full of possibilities for quips. At a bare minimum one of you should call the other "Mini-Me." I'll totally add it to my "favorites", ms syndicated.

Amy, my fudge recipe came off the back of the marshmallow creme jar. That's how intense of a cook I am. I think it's the first time I've ever made fudge on my own! But you know, the details of the past 30 yrs are starting to run together a bit. Maybe I make fudge every year, and every year it feels like a brand new adventure!

Erin, your blog rocks! Your writing is funny and interesting and you have cool pix and everything. You make me feel like a loser with a loser blog.

You, also, write for a living. That's been my excuse for my uninspired blog. I figure, I use up all my clever creativeness all day so there is none left for poor ol' blog.

In other news, part of my job is to be an Avenging Consumer Angel. That's right, I'm a reporter for the Fixer column, now appearing in the Sun-Times and dozens of other Chicago newspapers. No, I'm not the Stephanie in the picture. I'm the hired lackey. But I do get a contributing byline. And extra money. And great exposure. And Stephanie's great to work for, so I don't complain!(http://www.suntimes.com/index/fixer.html).

I've worked on landlord/rent cases. They're hard, even with the mighty power of the press behind you. But keep plugging away, you tiny-fisted one!

It's the very special combination of the three, no doubt. What could be more fattening, and yummy, than just straight butter, marshmallow (sugar), more sugar (?), and chocolate? Or whatever devilish delights are contained therein.
