Here’s some anti-boredom serum.

- If only the writers of power ballads had editors! An imaginary editor lays it on the line for Axl Rose’s “Sweet Child O’ Mine.” Link via Chris Uggen.
- so which Christians, exactly, are getting divorces? Blogger, sociologist, and Christian Brad Wright examines the data.
- Have you ever wondered when the most people blog about hiccups? Blog Trends can tell you. Or bananas, or solar eclipses, or whatever.

Wow. I found Bradley Wright’s series to be really enlightening. Those Barna stats always seemed questionable to me. While I found the “series” presentation a bit annoying (there’s a missing link after part 6, I think, and he doesn’t list the ‘part X of 14′ until late in the series), it was still a very worthwhile read. The chart that showed the lowering divorce stats for those Christians who faithfully attend church was particularly telling, I think.
I like Wright’s tone, too. He has some useful stuff between his ears, it appears, but he’s not stuffy.
Brad Wright is new to the whole blogging thing, so I think his future “series” will probably be better constructed. Wow, there are 14 parts? I think I missed a bunch.
