So, Irene and I got 22 together. That makes us a genius when combined or somewhat intelligent separately, right?
We’re just wondering if the test was written by a South African…

I think it’s funny — I am “almost a genius” on part 1, but on the subsequent tests I’m barely considered “somewhat intelligent.” Either my intelligence ebbs and flows by the minute or this test is completely arbitrary. (Even so, it’s still fun!)

I emailed the Cool Person Test to my friend Dave, who then posted it to a board he and his friends use throughout the day.
One of them said he was still taking the test, trying to improve his score.

Aaron– it’s sort of like the Beatles. None of them were as good separately as they were together.
Sarah– Maybe it’s your intelligence that shifts around, rather than the test ?
Tara– Ha!
Erik– It’s one of those faith things. The test only registers your coolness if you don’t put it to the test. You must simply believe.

Well, I’ve been working on the test off and on now for about an hour, and I finally hit 19. You know I had to keep plugging away until I did. Ha! The funny thing is, though, I’m all genius-like and stuff, but I can’t figure out how to move on to another part of the test.
