Erin, Erasure was me. I was merely too lazy to correct the "anonymous" posting.

I so rarely drive alone (the best time for full-volume singing) any more that, really, the answer would have to be: I sing anything that's playing, if it has the possibility of annoying my husband.
 Hee!
And if you want a better answer, I'll have to admit that I love to belt out the crappy diva songs. You know -- the REALLY extreme ones. Such as Whitney Houston's painful "I Will Always Love You"; Celine Dion's "Nothing Broken But My Heart"; etc. I avoid doing such to Mariah Carey tunes, however, because that would cause permanent throat injury.

Dr. g-- how could I forget that one?
Bea-- I like Buddy Holly's voice, even if it is kinda unconventional! You really listened to all the songs I put on there? Even the really loud ones?
Sarah-- Not to put too fine a point on it, say I'm the only bee in your bonnet! I hereby tag you to do a songlist on your blog.
Karen-- I guess Dr. G's singing has to be heard to be believed! He's got a good repetoire, especially when he breaks out the guitar... I think I have more country music in my list than you, too. I think the Weezer guy had a mental breakdown at some point (SO Brian Wilson of him!), and maybe the show you saw was around then. Too bad. The blue CD is eally fun.
Anonymous-- What is this? You will not publicly admit to liking erasure? Is that you, dad? The word "peppy" is a dead giveaway and i know I put that song on a mix for you once.

I think I'd really like to hear Dr. G singing Free Fallin' at full volume. Something about that makes me giggle. Hehehe. Make that really LOL. HAHAHAHAH!!

I really like your list!! I think maybe you have a bit more funk in your system than I do, but a lot of these songs I could easily have included on my list, too.

I saw Weezer a loooooong time ago while in college in New Orleans. I think it was at the Howlin' Wolf... like 1992 or '93. It was the worst show *EVER*. It was awful. I think they were both seriously tripping or something, because it was the most tuneless, weird (not weird-good. Weird-really-bad.) set ever. It has left me in amazement that anyone could like their music, ever. But then, my opinion's now tainted with the bad memory that will never allow anything positive-Weezer into it. KWIM?

Some of those songs would have made my list too. Especially OTR and Erasure! And whenever I hear Birdhouse I not only sing, but I also think of you. :)

My ultimate sing-a-long would have to be Tom Petty's Free Fallin' because it requires full volume: "Yeah I'm FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! FREE FALLIN!"
