You might also consider carrot methods with children, instead of just sticks.

Mike- I am very sorry indeed to hear of your drying up. May you be like a chia pet and become luxuriant once again.

Karen- Dr. G says that good deterrence methods for crime require consequences that are swift and certain. The same seems to apply to small children. Will get a chance to fine-tune my theories in February, when I'm back on duty in Superchurch. Works best when the people not up front act as The Enforcers.

Steve- Have you tried silent mimicry?

Sarah-- yes! could have done without the serial killer but loved the world fair part.

Kate-- I like your technique of getting me to write more by complimenting me.

Yeah! I also was intrigued most by the '75 quiet kids' and 'Chicago World's Fair.' Way to (once again!) leave us begging for more.

Can you tell me how to tell a 50 year-old man that he chews with his mouth open? Right now, I just put on headphones and listen to pandora.com at first sign of his feeding.

So, what's your secret with the 75 kids? Screaming at them I think would lead me to the incongruous title, I think, of Bitchy Worship Leader. But, calmly waiting for respect to develop doesn't work either. Providing something new and interesting works once, but continually creating something new and interesting has proven to be a larger challenge than I can handle. What's your trick?

"I, I, I"

Well, I'm glad you're doing so well, and getting so smart. But the rest of us are drying up out here without your regular blogging. Thanks for taunting us with your blessed independence.
