I can’t believe I forgot to add this to my baby registry

Baby Bangs! Just in case I have a bald baby girl, because that would be too terrible to imagine. I was a bald baby myself, and would have LOVED to have worn a synthetic toupee for my early months of life. I still feel the persecution of those difficult times.

OH MY WORD. That is ridiculous. I may have to steal the link and mock it on my own blog. Having had two girls with no hair, I have found it frustrating that people have called them boys. (”Why do you have pink on that little boy?” asked on middle-aged man at Sprouts.) And, I have become a much bigger fan than I ever thought I’d be of hair bows and little girl “head tourniquets”, as I used to call them. However, even I wouldn’t stoop to a toupee. Ack.
I’ve seen some baby heels too. Maybe Toots would fancy those. Just imagine all that we missed out on because we were born prior to the arrival of baby toupees and high heels. Perhaps my late start explains my poor fashion sense.
Julie, I think I’d better stick with the crocheted converse shoes someone gave the baby…
