In the non-blogosphere, Erin works as a writer, editor, and educator. Unlike the really glamorous writers, she does not divide her time between New York City and a villa in the south of France. She has never even been to the south of France. Nevertheless, she and her husband spend every anniversary in a different state or country.
Erin recently moved from Baltimore, Maryland to Phoenix, Arizona. She often forgets that in Arizona even the bushes have spikes and thorns. She tries to think of the subsequent scrapes as decorative.
Her non-work habits include making pottery, hiking, and reconciling the narrow road of the Christian life with the ambiguity of experience.
